The 10^th anniversary of broadcasting of Radio MIR Medjugorje was celebrated on Saturday, December 8^th, with Holy Mass in Saint James’ parish church in Medjugorje. The Eucharistic celebration was presided by Dr. Fr. Ivan Sesar, Provincial of the Herzegovinian Franciscan Province of the Assumption of Mary and former Director of the Information Centre and Radio MIR Medjugorje, in concelebration with Dr. Fr. Miljenko Steko, current Director of the Information Centre and Radio MIR Medjugorje, Fr. Mario Knezovic, former Manager of the Information Centre and Chief Editor of Radio MIR Medjugorje, the Franciscans serving in Medjugorje and priests on pilgrimage in this place.

On December 2nd, one could see tears in Mirjana’s eyes. When the apparition was over, she wept for a long while before sharing with us the following message:

When someone asked St. Ignatius how he would react if his order broke up, he replied that it would take him no more than "an hour of prayer" to get over the shock and disappointment. Anyone who prays - not just this saint - is able to experience that the fruit of prayer is peace. When a spiritual man pours out his soul to God through prayer (encounter with God), his restless heart finds rest. Just as it is the nature of fire to burn upwards, so do man's desires tend to go upwards. And it is in following this order of things, to which man is destined by the bonds of charity, that he finds peace.

Laureen is an active young woman in a big city of Holland. She is single and works with much zeal, spreading Gospa's messages. She never finds herself jobless when it comes to serving Her! The experience she shares here may inspire us to make good use of our freedom!

Our dear friend Roberto, who has for many years been bringing pilgrims to Medjugorje from Mexico, shared this beautiful testimony with us recently. It is from Carmen, who lives near the city Valle Tamaulipas. She went with his group to Medjugorje for the Anniversary last summer. She shares:

Approximately 3 years before the Bosnian war, I dreamt that I went overseas with some friends from work. We were traveling around together but I felt a negative force chasing us to kill us. As we traveled around, there were so much death and destruction, people dying of hunger, others with limbs missing and children left orphaned.

It was as though we were traveling around this map with death and destruction. There were tanks bombing buildings, people being shot or stabbed.
