This book is the second of the four volumes of sermons and discourses given by Fr. Slavko Barbaric and Fr. Tomislav Vlasic during 1984 - 1987 in Medjugorje, and contains discourses given from January to June 1985.
30 Chapters of this book are now completed
People ask information about Medjugorje and its messages, but there is little to say. We usually give some explanations, some news, but Our Lady does not bring news: like a Mother, She awakens, incites, calls, rebukes .... There is nothing new.
It is the same when She tells us to go deep into our innermost self.
In the moment when these messages are given one feels an interior opening, light comes. The words are the same, but the heart understands the depth.
On this plane, many messages are now being given and those listening to the messages are following an interior path. It is very important to follow this interior path and open ourselves to the light.
By the way, for the last few weeks Our Lady has been teaching the prayer group how to live the Our Father. How to live every single word, how to really feel it within.
It is not a question of receiving news, but of going deeper into how we live day by day, in a new light.
Now that Medjugorje is under so much discussion I want to tell you what Our Lady said at the beginning of Lent, through the visionary Jelena: "Look, now I am here. I am in every family.I am everywhere. It may seem strange to you , but it is not. This is what love does. I tell you :love".
You see, we must understand that love has its influence everywhere. We must move towards love, live love. Our strength is love, not human arguments; rather the strength of love together with human discussions. But all humna arguments without love can do nothing and we must move towards the core of this message.
May you all live these days in Medjugorje with love and with a new light and may you take this light to others. I suggest to the pilgrims that instead of taking photographs, recording and filming ... you yourselves should become a videocassette, a recorder, for others !
